Usage

• CROPS -
  • Rhinoceros Beetle (Oryctes rhinoceros) is one of the strongest and terrible pest which damages Coconut trees, Oil Palm Trees, Date Palm Trees, Pineapple, Agave, Papaya, Yam, Banana, Sugarcane, Cycas, Areca plantation and other Ornamental Palm species. Their presence is found in several regions of the world. There are no pesticides available to control this pest effectively.
  • The grubs are the one which damages heavily, which feed on the roots and bore into the underground bases and even the trunks. Severe damage is inflicted particularly to offshoots and young palms, in which the mortality rates are very high, mature and old palms also infested with grubs, which results in yellowing of the palms and reduction in yield.

• INSECTS/ DISEASE - Damage symptoms: V-shaped or scissor shape cut gaps in the leaf, permanently marked hole on petiole regions of the leaves and outermost sphere of the leaf. Adult beetle’s penetrate in the crown and the base portion of the palm and eat the soft tissue.

• DOSAGE -
  • 1 Trap per acre. If the infestation is more then increase the number of traps.
