The Shot Hole Borer/Pinhole Borer is a highly polyphagous and high risk quarantine pest of pomegranate. This small tine beetles can damage more than 18 host crops. Majorly attacks on Pomegranate, Tea, Coffee, Guava & Mango from last few Years. Due to changing climate, continuous raining, soil wetness, high humidity population multiplies very fast. Delayed  intercultural practices, field operations supports to grow life chain. SHB damages dually to crop 1st by boring and making longitudinal galleries in bark & 2nd one by symbiotic fungi grown in tunnel which leads to dying and wilting. So have to manage this high risk emerging pest by integrated approach.

Used To Control: Shot Hole Borer (Xyleborus perforans, Xyleborus fornicatus)

Host Crop: Pomegranate, Coffee, Tea, Mango, Guava, Avocado, Rubber, Coconut, Cinnamon, Cashew nut, Jackfruit, Citrus, Eucalyptus, Ficus, Sugarcane, Castor, Teak.

Use:  6-8 Traps beside the Pin Hole Borer infestated Tree.
